Terms of service

The terms for using Nchito.

These terms are the agreement between you and DHM Group ("we", "us") for using Nchito, our website and our mobile app (the "service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who can use Nchito

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter a binding agreement under the laws of Zambia. You can browse jobs without an account. Some features, such as applying in the app, need one.

2. Your account

Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.

3. Jobs, employers and applications

  • Nchito is a platform. Jobs are posted by the Nchito team, by employers, or copied from other websites. We do not employ you, and we are not a party to any job offer, contract or payment between you and an employer.
  • Employers are responsible for their listings and for how they treat applicants. We check companies before they can publish, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is accurate, current or lawful.
  • Jobs marked External come from other sites. We show a copy and credit the source. The listing is run by that site, and you apply on their site.
  • Applying through Nchito sends your details, and any resume you choose, to the employer. See the privacy policy.
  • Never pay to get a job. Legitimate employers do not charge applicants. Report listings that ask for money.

4. Rules of use

Do not: post false, misleading, discriminatory or unlawful jobs or profiles; harass others; upload malware; copy or scrape the service in bulk without our written permission; try to break or bypass its security; or use it to send spam. Employers must have the right to post the jobs they publish.

5. Content you provide

You keep ownership of what you provide (resumes, profile text, job descriptions). You allow us to store it and show it as needed to run the service: for example, to send your application to the employer you applied to, or to show an employer's job to job seekers. You promise that you have the right to provide it.

Employers may be offered featured listings, and we may show sponsored banner or native ads in the service. Sponsored content will be labelled. We are not responsible for the products or services of advertisers.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Nchito available, but we do not promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. We may change or stop parts of the service. We may update these terms; we will show the new date above, and continued use means you accept the update.

8. Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses that come from jobs, employers or other users, from content on other websites, or from interruptions of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. See also the disclaimer.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Nchito at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the contact page). We may end or limit access if you break these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zambia, and the courts of Zambia have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be waived.
